The ISTRIAN SPRING project is a series of professional cycling races for women and men consisting of 5 races and has been taking place in Istria for over 20 years at the beginning of spring.

The races are attended by the best cycling teams from all over the world in their category, who are extremely attracted by the concept in which they participate in several different races during their 12-day stay in Istria and use their free time for training camps.

Another special feature of the project is that this series of races is one of the unique springboards for the future biggest stars of world professional cycling.

Some of the best cyclists of today and the recent past, such as Tadej Pogačar, Primož Roglič and Petar Sagan, made their first professional appearances and victories in these races.

The ISTRIAN SPRING series consists of the following races with dates in 2025:

UMAG Classic LADIES (WE 1.2) - 5.3.2025.

UMAG Classic (ME 1.2) - 5.3.2025.

POREČ Classic LADIES (WE 1.2) - 9.3.2025.

POREČ Classic (ME 1.2) - 9 March 2025.

ISTRIAN SPRING Tour (ME 2.2) - 13. - 16.3.2025.
