Valamar is proud to present the third edition of Adventure Race Croatia, the qualifying race for the Adventure Race World Series, which will take place from 16 to 23 May 2021 in the stunning landscapes of Kvarner and Gorski Kotar.

A total of 50 teams from some twenty countries applied for this epic adventure race, which is considered one of the most popular in the world. Entry fees were sold out in less than an hour.

During the four days of the race, teams of four competitors, of whom at least one is of the opposite sex, will attempt to find all the checkpoints on the extremely demanding 550 km route with an altitude difference of 10,000 m. The race includes various disciplines from running and orientation to mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, and rope climbing.

Teams must complete the race according to the precise instructions and map they receive from the organizer by passing through the checkpoints and transition points in a particular racing discipline. The first team to reach the finish respecting all the rules and with all possible penalties taken into account is considered the winning team.

In this mission, which many consider impossible, competitors pass through all phases from joy and excitement to discomfort and pain. However, reaching the finish line is an immense satisfaction for everyone.
